Please read Chapters 1 through 4 of 'Bitcoin Is for Everyone' before the first meetup.
Feel free to lightly mark any passages that stood out to you, were difficult to understand, or that you would like to discuss together.
The main purpose of this book club is to discuss whether ‘Bitcoin Is for Everyone’ is a suitable book for orange-pilling the general public, especially younger generations.
In the first session, we will read Chapters 1 through 4 and examine whether the book is easy to understand for someone encountering Bitcoin for the first time, and whether its stories and examples resonate with younger generations.
We will also discuss which parts might be helpful if you were to give this book to a younger person around you, and where additional explanation might be useful.
Anyone who has thought about how to orange-pill younger people who are not yet Bitcoiners, or who would like to think about it together, is welcome to participate.
If you are a young Bitcoiner, you are also welcome to share your own experience of how you first discovered Bitcoin.
Those who want to introduce Bitcoin to their children, younger siblings, or friends, as well as those interested in Bitcoin education for younger generations, are also welcome.
No prior experience with orange-pilling or specialized knowledge of Bitcoin is required.
For Chapters 1 through 4, we plan to discuss how each chapter addresses the following points.
How helpful the content is for orange-pilling younger generations
Whether the explanations and narrative approach are reasonable
Whether the examples used in the book are also relevant to younger generations
Whether the book feels persuasive even to ordinary readers who are not Bitcoin maxis
What additional explanations might be helpful when using this book to introduce Bitcoin
No participation fee
